Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9952625A2] The invention relates to a method for producing a plurality of different very low-volume accumulation products from different starting materials and containing varying quantities of the individual components, for the purpose of both synthesis and analysis of the mixed products for physical and chemical properties. According to said method the accumulation products are deposited in predefined positions on a flat substrate in a program-controlled manner using the inkjet printing method. Miniscule droplets of the flowable starting materials, which are housed in different material chambers assigned to a material distributing head, are injected in accordance with a computer program at a defined dosage in predefined positions on the substrate or in corresponding cavities in same and possibly examined with a sensor which is assigned to a measurement head. The method makes it possible by means of few and simple apparatus and little material rapidly to prepare precisely dosed accumulation products used in the production of synthesis and analysis series.
