[origin: WO9952794A1] The invention relates to a large transportable container, notably a container suitable for air transport, with self-supporting construction units for receiving electrical and/or electronic components. The interior (11) of said container comprises at least two mounting levels (17, 18) which are approximately opposite each other and on which at least two support elements (13, 14, 15) are mounted via at least one vibration-damping and/or shock-absorbing mounting part (16). In addition, at least one self-supporting construction unit (19, 20) for receiving electrical and/or electronic components is rigidly mounted between two support elements. The support elements can advantageously be positioned parallel to each other and the mounting parts can be positioned on mounting rails (7, 8) in accordance with the width of the components to be mounted between them.
