[origin: WO9953148A1] The invention relates to a device for arranging shaft covers and similar, comprising an upper frame part (1) which is configured for receiving a cover, retaining elements for anchoring in the surrounding roadway covering (10, 11) being provided on said frame part (1), and a connecting part (40) which can move in relation to the upper frame part (1). The aim of the invention is to simplify the construction of the arrangement. To this end, an anchoring part (20) and optionally, one or more compensating rings (30) are provided between the connecting part (40) and the frame part (1). Said compensating rings (30) consist of an elastically deformable material and the anchoring part (20) and compensating rings (30) each have a ring-shaped groove (22, 32) into which the connecting part (40) can be introduced in order to provide a connection which allows for displacement.
