Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2776388A1] ROR (Retinoic acid receptor related Orphan Receptor) receptors and/or their response elements are used to screen for substances having anti-atherosclerotic activity. An Independent claim is also included for a screening assay for substances having anti-atherosclerotic activity, comprising contacting a test substance with a ROR receptor and/or a ROR receptor response element and measuring the binding of the substance to the receptor or the binding of a complex formed between the substance and the receptor to its response element.
