[origin: EP1070460A1] The lid for a makeup container includes a top wall (14) and a lateral skirt (15) extending down from the edge of the top made of translucent plastic material. The top and outside of the skirt are covered in matt varnish. The internal wall of the skirt (26) is covered by a layer of colored paint (34). The closure or lid for a makeup accessory or container includes a top wall (14) and a lateral skirt (15) extending down from the edge of the top. The top wall defines a circular face, whilst the lateral skirt forms an outside edge (22). The lower surface of the top (21) and the wall forming the skirt are formed by moulding a translucent plastic material. The top surface and the outside of the skirt are completely covered in a layer of matt varnish without any break. The internal wall of the skirt (26) is covered by a layer of opaque paint (34) of a chosen color. The chosen color may be black, and the coloring may be achieved by injection within a material which is physically and chemically compatible with the non-opaque material.
