Abstract (en)

The applicator consists of a reservoir (2) for the product and an applicator brush with a holder (3), a rod (5) and bristle tip (4) with a mixture of two different groups of bristles (9). The bristles in one group have at least part of their length made with a right-hand spiral twist (R20), while those in the other group have a left-hand spiral twist (P7). The bristles in both groups have a cross-section with a sharp edge which runs in a spiral along at least part of their length, e.g. square, triangular or rectangular. Other variants of the bristles' cross-section can have cavities, e.g. in the shape of a star, cross, or various letters of the alphabet.

Dispositif (6) pour l'application d'un produit (M), notamment cosmétique, comportant: - un élément de préhension (3) et un organe d'application (4), solidaire dudit élément de préhension, ledit organe d'application comprenant un arrangement de poils (9), ledit arrangement étant formé par un mélange d'au moins deux groupes de poils de type différent, caractérisé en ce ledit premier groupe, sur au moins une portion de la longueur des poils, présente au moins un profil hélicoïdal lévogyre (P7), et en ce que ledit second groupe de poils présente, sur au moins une portion de la longueur des poils, au moins un profil dextrogyre (R20). L'invention concerne également un ensemble d'application (1) équipé d'un tel dispositif (6), et son utilisation, notamment pour le maquillage des cils ou des ongles. <IMAGE>
