Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1070774A2] Fillet wire (100) on a card cylinder is cleaned by running a blade (56) in the gap between adjacent wires. The blade is carried on a spring-loaded (52) lever (42) that is mounted on a carriage (20). The carriage (20) runs on rails (10) across the width of the card as the blade (56) is pulled along in the gap between the turns of the spirally wound wire (100).
