Abstract (en)
The profiled section (10) has a hollow chamber (16) holding a reinforcement profile (12). Two first air chambers (20) are formed across the main flow of heat between the surrounding walls (19) of the chamber and the reinforcement profile. The air layer thickness (a, b) of the first chambers is between preferably 3 and 8 mm. The hollow profile is extruded from thermoplastics and the reinforcement profile is made of metal. A second air chamber (22) can be provided parallel to the main flow of heat.

Ein Kunststoffhohlprofil (10) mit mindestens einer Hohlkammer (16) zur Aufnahme eines Verstärkungsprofils (12) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß quer zur Hauptwärmestromrichtung jeweils zwischen den umgebenden Wänden (19) der Hohlkammer (16) und dem Verstärkungsprofil (12) zwei erste Luftkammern (20) gebildet sind und die Luftschichtdicke (a, b) der ersten Luftkammern (20) 2 bis 12 mm, vorzugsweise 3 bis 8 mm, beträgt. <IMAGE>
