The active suppression process takes place in a combustion system (10) in which liquid or gas fuel is mixed with combustion air and the mixture is then burned. The mass flow of the supplied fuel is modulated by the measurements of a selected time function. This modulation is achieved by fluidic means (11).

Bei einem Verfahren zur aktiven Unterdrückung von strömungsmechanischen Instabilitäten in einem Verbrennungssystem (10, 20, 30), in dem flüssiger oder gasförmiger Brennstoff mit Verbrennungsluft vorgemischt und Brennstoff-Luft-Mischung anschliessend verbrannt wird, und bei welchem Verfahren der Massenstrom des zugeführten Brennstoffs nach Massgabe einer ausgewählten Zeitfunktion moduliert wird, wird eine Vereinfachung und erhöhte Funktionssicherheit dadurch erreicht, dass die Modulation mit Mitteln der Fluidik (11) erfolgt. <IMAGE>
