[origin: FR2777157A1] The invention concerns a method for animal marking by penetration of needles (1) arranged in a specific manner on a needle support (2) and by ink (3) penetration into the skin (4) of said animals using a device (5) provided with prehensile means (6) and percussion means (7). The invention is characterised in that before, during and after the penetration of said needles (1) into the skin (4), an ink mist (8) is generated formed by spraying fine ink droplets and air on said skin (4). The invention also concerns the animal marking device (5) for implementing said method.
