Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9945814A1] The invention relates to a tool for treating hair, an applicator/hair-holding element (4) and methods for using and producing same. According to the invention the applicator/hair-holding element (4) and/or the cosmetic substance are present in such a form that the emergence of the cosmetic substance from the applicator/hair-holding element (4) can be activated by a temperature at least higher than 22 DEG C and/or humidity and/or vibration. The cosmetic substance is stored exclusively in the applicator/hair-holding element (4). When the cosmetic substance stored in the applicator/hair-holding element (4) is used up the applicator/hair-holding element (4) can be replaced with a new one. This considerably simplifies the handling of systems which apply a cosmetic substance and simultaneously dry or style hair.
