[origin: US6364100B1] A case for rod-shaped objects has at least one receptacle, a closure part, and a first hinge, wherein the first hinge articulates the receptacle and the closure part relative to one another. The closure part can be folded relative to the receptacle about the first hinge into an open position in which the rod-shaped objects are accessible and forms a positioning support for the case to hold the case in an erect position when the case is placed onto a supporting surface. The closure part has a bottom closure part, a top closure part, and a second hinge, wherein the second hinge articulates the bottom closure part and the top closure part relative to one another so that the top closure part and the bottom closure part are foldable and pivotable relative to one another.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Etui für stabförmige Gegenstände, insbesondere für Schreib-, Zeichen-, Mal-, Markier- oder Kosmetikstifte oder -Geräte, das mindestens aus einem Köcher (1) und aus einem Verschlußteil (2) besteht und wobei beide Teile (1, 2) gelenkartig miteinander verbunden sind. Ein solches Etui soll vorschlagsgemäß derart weitergebildet werden, daß das am Köcher (1) schwenkbar befestigte Verschlußteil (2) eine untere Verschlußschale (21) und eine obere Verschlußschale (22) aufweist und geteilt und aufklappbar ausgebildet ist und daß das Verschlußteil (2) zusätzlich als Aufstellhilfe bzw. als Aufsteller für das Etui ausgebildet ist, wodurch das Etui (E) in eine definierte Aufstellposition (A) bzw. in eine übliche Gebrauchsposition gebracht und in dieser gehalten werden kann. Hierbei soll insbesondere auch das Verschlußteil (2) aus einer unteren Verschlußschale (21) und aus einer oberen Verschlußschale (22) bestehen und beide Verschlußschalen (21, 22) durch ein Verschlußgelenk (23) miteinander klappbar verbunden und gegeneinander verschwenkbar angeordnet und das Verschlußteil (2) außerdem mit dem Köcher (1) durch ein Klappgelenk (14) gelenkartig und klappbar verbunden sein.
