Abstract (en)
The apparatus takes the form of a frame (1) with a central column (2) which has at least three carrier arms (4, 5, 6, 7) located at a same level and kept in contact with the furnace inner side surface during operation of the apparatus. At least one of the carrier arms (6, 7) is provided with a rotatable cutting tool (8) which is movable in the direction of the furnace inner side surface. Preferred Features: The carrier arm (6, 7) with the cutting tool (8) consists of two sections of which the outer section (7) is pivotable in the direction opposite to the cutting tool rotation. The pivot motion of this section is limited by a stop (4). The cutting tool is a milling cutter. At least two carrier arms (4, 5) form a fixed configuration, and are provided at their ends with guide elements (4a, 5a). All carrier arms can be radially adjustable to different furnace diameters. The milling cutter is rotated by means of compressed air motor (9). The radial holding rods (12) at the upper end of the column (2) are located above the furnace top. The other ends of these holding rods are joined to a circular rod (13) to form a steering wheel configuration. A lid (14) is located above the carrier arms. An element (11) is provided for lifting the apparatus by means of a crane. The pivotable section (7) of the carrier arm with the cutting tool is damped by means of an impact damper (15) connected to the fixed carrier arm (5). Several carrier arms at different levels can be attached to the central column. They carry cutting tools whose operating regions slightly overlap one another.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reinigungsvorrichtung für metallurgische Öfen, insbesondere Tiegelöfen. Ausgehend von den Nachteilen des bekannten Standes der Technik soll eine Reinigungsvorrichtung geschaffen werden, mit der eine wirkungsvolle und die feuerfeste Zustellung schonende Reinigung des Ofens ermöglicht wird. Als Lösung wird vorgeschlagen, die aus einem in den Tiegelofen verfahrbaren Gestell (1) besteht, das einen zentralen Träger (2) aufweist, an dem mindestens drei in einer Ebene liegende, nach außen gerichtete Trägerarme (4,5,6,7) beabstandet zueinander angeordnet sind, die im Betriebszustand mit der Tiegelofeninnenwand in Berührungskontakt stehen, wobei an mindestens einem der Trägerarme (6,7) ein in Richtung zur Tiegelofeninnenwand bewegbares, rotierbares Schneidwerkzeug (8) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
