Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1072527A1] The container consists of a flexible tube (2) made from a thermoplastic, aluminium or tin, containing a product in liquid or paste form, surmounted by a shoulder (8) with a rigid threaded neck (10) closed by a cap (6). The neck has two or more slits along its whole length from the shoulder to its open end allowing the neck to open when a pressure is applied to opposite sides (8a, 8b) of the shoulder, so that remnants of the product can be extracted from beneath the shoulder. To facilitate bending, the shoulder has zones of reduced thickness lying in the same plane as the neck slits.
