Abstract (en)
A fabric includes fibres having an elastic fibre core sheathed with aramide fibres. The fabric is dyed while under high temperature and pressure and is not tensioned while being dyed. The dyeing stage may last 20 minutes and is performed at 120 degrees C. The core and sheath may be joined together by being core spun or air spun.

Tissu apte à être utilisé pour la confection de vêtements de protection contre l'incendie ou les risques de chaleurs industrielles, caractérisé en ce que : il est constitué d'un fil complexe comprenant une âme et une gaine constituée d'un fil de couverture recouvrant l'âme, dans lequel : l'âme est choisie parmi les fils appartenant à la classe des élastofibres ; la gaine est choisie parmi les fibres appartenant à la classe des fibres aramides ; il a subi une étape de teinture à hautes température et pression, pendant laquelle il n'est pas soumis à une mise sous tension.
