Abstract (en)
The seal element (1), made from a foam material containing natural or synthetic fibres such as rock wool, glass wool, cotton, linen, wool or wood chips with a granular or smooth impermeable surface coating, has sloping upper (1a) and lower (1b) surfaces which form obtuse and acute angles respectively with the surface of the facade wall (2). The element has a height of between 5 and 300 mm, a width of 5 cm to 3 m, and a depth of 5 - 50 mm. The obtuse angle is between 95 and 175 degrees, and the acute angle is between 5 and 87 degrees.

L'invention se rapporte à un élément rigide tridimensionnel d'étanchéité pour façade ayant une surface supérieure (1a), une surface inférieure (1b), plusieurs côtés, présentant éventuellement une section variable en fonction du plan de coupe, et ayant des angles α et β définis respectivement entre un axe vertical et la surface supérieure ou la surface inférieure, ledit angle α étant toujours obtus et ledit angle β étant au choix obtus, aigü ou droit. L'invention concerne également une utilisation de cet élément pour rendre étanche un mur de façade. <IMAGE>
