[origin: EP1072751A2] The seal assembly (100) has a D-shaped sealing member (5) has its flat face horizontal and in contact with a profiled carrier rail (3) mounted inside a guide rail (2). Grooves in the bottom face of the carrier rail accommodate arrow-head-section projections on the D-shaped seal. Sealing lips (6) are fitted in grooves in the guide rail and bear against the sides of the carrier rail. One or both sides of the guide rail may be covered by a painted decorative strip (10a).
