Abstract (en)
The method is carried out in such a manner that at least three sensors are introduced, and the signal given by the sensors is evaluated using correlation measurements, and from this, the weight loading each axle, the total weight of the vehicle also the speed and acceleration of the same are computed. The sensor distance is larger than the wheel support length, but smaller than the smallest possible axle distance.
