[origin: FR2789903A1] The boot fastening, comprising a toe clamp and a lateral guide (7), has a lateral support (1) with its inner upper surface (2) projecting above the surface of the ski and making contact with the side (2') of the boot sole (6) above its wear surface (5). At any point on its surface a tangent to the inner upper surface of the support forms an angle of between 5 and 90 degrees with the upper surface of the ski. The support can be fastened to the side of the ski by a fixing (10), or it can form part of a cross-member beneath or combined with the lateral guide (7).
