[origin: FR2776560A1] The invention concerns a method for over-moulding and mounting components (1) with identical shape but irregular dimensions using a machine comprising various mobile sliding cores (12) urged to enclose successively each component (1) and ensuring continuous tightness around the outer surface (5) thereof and which is to be over-moulded; the material which is to constitute the over-moulding is injected (16) under pressure into the space produced between the cavities of said sliding cores (12) and the surfaces (5) to be over-moulded. The invention is characterised in that it consists in: always injecting the same amount of material; absorbing any surplus volume of injected material (16) relative to the amount required to produce said over-moulding (3) external shape, and resulting from volume variations in said space (17) caused by the irregular dimensions of said components (1) by means of a variable volume (24) located in at least one of said sliding cores (12) and limited by the walls located inside the external volume of the desired and suitable over-moulding (3) shape.
