[origin: DE19907348A1] The injection valve has a piston (10) bounded on one side in the cylinder (11) by a hydraulic cavity at reference pressure and supported on the other side in the initial position against a fixed stop (18). It can be driven off the stop by the valve member via force transfer devices in the form of springs (15, 16) which are stressed by the valve member in the course of its opening stroke.
