[origin: WO9954967A1] A female connector (10) includes a housing (13) having an opening for receiving a male connector and a support part (11, 12) disposed in the housing. The support part has first and second rows of pins (16) which are staggered in relationship to one another, each pin having an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portions of the pins of the first and second rows are bent such that the upper portions all lie in substantially a common plane extending at an angle away from and in alignment with the opening in the housing.
