Abstract (en)

The embossing station, for embossing a fiber web (5), has a support frame (1) for a counter roller (2) and two embossing rollers (3,3'). A switch mechanism brings each embossing roller (3,3') alternately against the counter roller (2) or they are both together in contact with the counter roller. The embossing rollers (3,3') are over or under the counter roller (2), so that at least one is offset from the counter roller to one side. The embossing rollers, and the counter roller, have independent drives. The counter roller (2) has a hard or pliable smooth surface.

Eine Prägestation (10) zur Prägung von Faserbahnen umfasst eine Stuhlung (12), eine Gegenwalze (14) und zwei Prägewalzen (3, 3') sowie einen Umschaltmechanismus. Der Umschaltmechanismus ist so gestaltet, dass alternativ jede der Prägewalzen (3, 3') einzeln mit der Gegenwalze (12) oder beide Prägewalzen (3, 3') zusammen mit der Gegenwalze (12) in Eingriff stehen. <IMAGE>
