[origin: EP1074494A2] The transporter for thin, flat articles (1) comprises two belts (2, 3) arranged on either side of the article and held together by force at right angles to the direction of transport. The force is generated by at least one of the belts being made of magnetic material. The other belt may be magnetic or may be made of steel.
