Abstract (en)
Process involves creating a material reserve long enough to feed the production line while the rolls are connected. The new roll (R2) end is placed on a support surface (7) and covered with a junction element. The first roll (R1) has its end cut and placed on a support surface (9). The first support surface pivots and stands vertically then is pressed against the second support surface. The two end are then fastened and the new roll starts feeding the production line as soon as the material reserve is used up. An Independent claim is also included for the process installation.

Procédé et installation de raboutage entre un matériau en bande prélevé sur un rouleau (R1) et alimentant une ligne de transformation dudit matériau (1) et l'amorce (8) d'un second rouleau (R2) destiné à poursuivre l'alimentation après épuisement du premier sans arrêt de ladite ligne de transformation, caractérisés : la matière (1) alimentant l'installation de transformation est déplacée verticalement entre deux éléments de guidage (3,4); l'extrémité (8) du nouveau rouleau (R2) de matière est positionnée sur une surface d'appui (7) horizontale, l'opérateur disposé dans la zone de travail la recouvrant, d'une bande d'un élément de jonction ; la matière (1) du rouleau (R1) est immobilisée puis coupée transversalement, son extrémité étant positionnée en regard d'une surface d'appui (9) transversale ; la surface d'appui (7) pivote et est plaquée contre la surface (9), ce qui entraîne la solidarisation des deux extrémités de matière, ces extrémités étant superposées dans le prolongement l'une de l'autre. <IMAGE>
