Abstract (en)
A detergent tablet of compressed particulate material. The tablet or a region thereof contains at least one surface active agent, a builder and a water insoluble but water swellable disintegrating agent. More particularly the tablet or region thereof contains at least 5% by weight of solid surface active agent of which at least a portion is a solid non-ionic surface active agent and does not contain more than 3% by weight of liquid non-ionic surface active agent.
