The acoustic component has a multilayer structure and an acoustic core layer (2) that can be stimulated to vibrate acoustically and to emit sound waves. The surface of the core layer is at least partly rigidly attached to a fibre-reinforced material layer (3). The core layer is made of polyurethane hard foam material. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an acoustic component.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein mehrlagig aufgebautes akustisches Bauteil, das in der Lage ist mit seiner gesamten Oberfläche wie die Membran es Lautsprechers zu wirken. Das Bauteil weist einen akustikfähigen Schaumkern auf, z.B. aus PUR-Hartschaum. Der Schaumkern bildet eine Kernschicht, die in der Art einer Sandwichstruktur mit Faserplatten verstärkt ist. Auf diese Weise entsteht ein Bauteil, das die vorteilhaften akustischen Eigenschaften des PUR-Hartschaums mit der hohen mechanischen Festigkeit eines Sandwichbauteils aus Faserplatten in sich vereinigt. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen akustischen Bauteils.
