Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0047475A1] The invention relates to a bag closing device using plate-like plastic closures (V) which can be torn off individually, one after the other, from a closure tape (VB), and hold the neck of the bag by means of an opening (1) having a slit on one side. The device gathers the neck of the bag such that a ruche (R) is formed and then slides a closure (V) having a slit opening (1) over said ruche (R) as the bags pass through the device linearly in a single plane.
