[origin: DE19818687A1] The aim of the invention is to provide a simple and efficient lifting device, comprising a gripping section (1) and a head section (2) which is joined thereto and which has at least one locking element (4; 22, 23). When the locking element (4; 22, 23) is in an inserted position, it is aligned with the head section (2) in a substantially flush position. When said locking element is in a lift position, it protrudes above the periphery of the head section in a crosswise direction in relation to the direction in which the head section is inserted.
