[origin: CA2306793A1] A cap (21) for a container (11) has a central conical well (46) in the top of the cap with a scoreline (56). When a bottle closed by the cap is lowered into a dispenser, a probe (62) of the dispenser enters into the well and causes it to split along the scoreline. When the bottle is raised, the well substantially returns to initial condition, inhibiting spillage of any liquid remaining in the bottle.
