[origin: DE19819656A1] The invention relates to a method for producing polyolesters with an acid value of less than 1 and OH values of less than 30 by reacting triglycerides of native origin in the presence of a polyol with 2 to 15 C-atoms and 2 to 4 hydroxyl groups and a catalyst, at temperatures of 180 to 240 DEG C and at a reduced pressure of 5 to 2 kPa. During the reaction, the pressure is reduced to an end pressure of 1 to 0.01 kPa. The glycerol formed during the reaction is continually removed.
