Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1075899A2] The grinding roller has a main body (32) detachably joined to a grinding belt (52) which has open ends and has abrasive material on it. At least one of the open ends is inserted into a radial slot in the roller body which is connected to a tensioning piece adjusting the width of the slot. The roller body is on a shaft (30) and has a conical annular groove (42,46) at least on one side. A clamping ring (34,36) with a conical annular spring (40,44) fits into the annular groove.
