[origin: EP1075943A1] The printing unit has several cylinders adjustable in relation to each other on guide elements in the form of straight guide rails, and each possessing its own drive motor. At least one of the cylinders is a form cylinder (11,12). Each guide element for a form cylinder extends as far as an extra appliance (25,26) as ink and or damping unit. The guide elements determining the paths of the carriages (8,9) for the outer cylinders (2,3) and the guide elements (13,14) determining the paths of the carriages (7,10) for the inner cylinders (4,5) slope in relation to each other.
