Abstract (en)
Recording material for ink jet printing with a base layer and pigment-containing layer(s) has an ink-receiving layer containing a finely-divided inorganic pigment with a particle size of 0.01-1.0 micron, the primary particles of which show an internal pore volume. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of ink jet recording material in which the pigment-containing ink receiving layer and the pigment-free outer layer are applied wet-in-wet.

Aufzeichnungsmaterial für Tintenstrahl-Aufzeichnungsverfahren mit einem Träger und mindestens einer ein Pigment enthaltenden Schicht, wobei das Aufzeichnungsmaterial eine ein feinteiliges anorganisches Pigment mit einer Teilchengröße von 0,01 bis 1,0 µm enthaltende Tintenaufnahmeschicht enthält und wobei die Primärteilchen des Pigments ein inneres Porenvolumen aufweisen.
