Abstract (en)
A door lock handle assembly is very hard to unlock unless its detachable operating handle (70) is used. In the assembly, an outer end portion of a rotating shaft (10) rotatably mounted in a fixed main body (2) of the assembly forms a spline shaft portion (12) in its outer end portion which is axially slidably engaged with an annular shutter member (40). The spline shaft portion (12) has axial grooves (11) the number of which is an odd number of 3 or 5. An annular cover member (50) for covering an outer peripheral surface of a flange portion of the shutter member (40) is fixedly mounted on the fixed main body (2). The shutter member (40) is resiliently urged toward an axially inner surface of the cover member (50). The operating handle (70) is capable of being engaged with and disengaged from both the spline shaft portion (12) and the annular shutter member (40). <IMAGE>
