Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1076144A2] The slatted door consists of interlinked slats (6) forming an armored plate running along side guide rails.(1). The armored plate (5) is moved up and down by means of a drive mechanism for opening and closing. The movement is braked by a spring arrangement in the vertical rails on both sides of the door. Each rail has at least one pair of tension springs (15) on the inside and outside of the armored plate. The top ends (16) of the springs are supported on the building; the bottom, free ends (18) are joined in pairs by bridging arms (19) crossing the track of the armor plate.
