Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1076150A2] The spacer system for multi-pane insulation glazing has a plastics linear connection for hollow spacer profiles with a U-shaped cross section for the passage of a mol. sieve. A connection profile body is inserted into the hollow zones of the two spacer profiles to hold them together, with a limit surface structure to bear against the facing end sides. Compensating blade springs give a firm seating between the body and the inner wall of the spacer profile. The blade compensation springs (3), which extend outwards from the side surfaces (11) of both legs (6) of the U-profile body (1), are held together by thin webs (4) parallel to the longitudinal axis (A) of the U-profile body (1). The webs (4) are flush in succession, in a row, of the same dimensions. They extend to the tips (5) of the springs (3), and generally fill the clear width of the spaces between the springs (3).
