[origin: WO9956598A1] A cover (12) for fitting to a mattress (10) comprises a substantially rectangular sheet with sewn-in corners (20) to enable the sheet to be fitted to a mattress (10). The edge of the cover (12) is elasticated to secure the cover on the mattress (10). Straps (24) are secured across the corners of the cover (12) and are arranged to retain a duvet (14) in place on the mattress (10). The corners of the duvet (14) are retained by the straps (24).
