Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1077077A2] The solids (5) are burned in a first stage by supplying primary air and the resulting exhaust gases (7) are first mixed in a second stage with a gaseous oxygen-free mixing medium (8). The resulting mixture (9) is left for at least 0.3 s in an inertia zone (3) and then mixed in a third stage with the secondary air (10) to which a reduction agent (11) is added, thereby ensuring complete burning of the solids. the temperature of the exhaust gases after adding the secondary air is regulated to a determined ideal value in dependence on the added amount of gaseous mixing medium or added amount of secondary air
