[origin: EP1077098A1] Production of one-part alloying body (8) made of liquid metal comprises pouring the liquid metal into a casting mold (2) having a run-off opening (3) in the base; removing the liquid metal exiting the run-off opening into a chill mold (4) moving below the casting mold; and placing the alloying bodies which solidify in the chill mold into transport containers (9). An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the alloying body production.
