Abstract (en)
The device consists of a base element (10) fastened to a working surface by a vacuum clamping device (19). The base element contains a piston unit (13), with one part projecting over the top of the base element when fitted. The part carries a clamping claw (20) for work pieces. The underside of the piston unit, and the side walls and base (17) of the base element define a hollow chamber (11), which may be evacuated. The clamping claw has two clamping arms (22,23) of different lengths, and an elastic coating (21) on the underside.

Eine Vorrichtung zum Spannen von Werkstücken (50) für spanende oder spanlose Bearbeitung umfaßt ein Grundelement (10), das durch eine Vakuumspannvorrichtung (19) auf einer Arbeitsfläche befestigbar ist. Im Grundelement (10) ist eine Kolbenanordnung (13) integriert, so daß ein Element der Kolbenanordnung (13) in Einbaulage über die Oberseite des Grundelements (10) im ausgefahrenen Zustand der Kolbenanordnung (13) vorsteht. An der Kolbenanordnung (13) ist weiterhin eine Einrichtung zum Spannen von Werkstücken angebracht. <IMAGE>
