The loudspeaker box has a housing (2) and at least one loudspeaker (4) with a chassis (6) enclosed by a housing wall (8) so that a rear and front sound in the low frequency range is superimposed with a sound increases in a predefined direction. The housing wall is mounted inside the housing to cause a sound increase at the front and a decrease at the rear. Independent claims are also included for a use of the loudspeaker box in a motor vehicle, esp. in a headrest and for a headrest with several integrated loudspeaker boxes.

Für eine gezielte Schallausbreitung mit einer besonders hohen Richtwirkung auch im Baßbereich ist erfindungsgemäß eine Lautsprecherbox (1) mit einem Gehäuse (2) und wenigstens einem Lautsprecher (4) mit Chassis (6) vorgesehen, welches von einer Gehäusewand (8) derart umgeben ist, daß im niederfrequenten Bereich sich rückseitiger und frontseitiger Schall des Lautsprechers (4) in einer vorgebbaren Richtung mit einer Schallüberhöhung überlagern.
