Abstract (en)
Cataphoretic dip coating apparatus comprises a bath having side walls (12) and a base (11); and anode cells (2) arranged on the side walls and the base and flood pipes (3) arranged in the region of the base. The anodes cells have a rectangular cross-section and are inserted into pocket-like recesses (16) of the side walls and base. The recesses have the same cross-section as the anode cells. The cells with their membrane surfaces (22) run planar with the remaining wall regions of the side walls and/or base. The flood pipes are inserted into the base and optionally into the side walls and open into the wall surfaces only with their outlet nozzles. Preferred Features: The corner regions between the side walls are rounded.

Kataphoretische Tauchlackieranlage, bei welcher die Anodenzellen (2) und die Flutrohre (3) derart in taschenartige Aussparungen (16) der Beckenwände eingelassen sind und die Wandecken so ausgerundet sind, daß die gesamte Beckeninnenwand sich als glatte und ausgerundete Flächen ohne Strömungsschatten oder Totzonen für die umgewälzte Badflüssigkeit darstellt. <IMAGE>
