[origin: EP1079045A2] The locking device is in the form of a gripping device(10). The structures comprise two telescoping pipes(12,13). The gripping device has a clamp(11) which goes around one of the pipes. The clamp faces two opposite end pieces(14,15) which through a clamping lever(16) are pressed together. The clamp is rigged to the pipe through at least one screw(17) .
