[origin: EP1079054A1] The lock has a transmission lever (20) between a transverse rib (4) on a rear rod (3) of a latch (1) and a convex curved end (8) of a radial arm (7) of a nut (6). The lever contacts the transverse rib and the convex curved end and is connected to the lock casing (48) over a rotation axis (22), which extends transversely in the lock casing and is arranged above the latch rod. The lever is pivoted about its rotation axis when the latch is pulled backwards and increases the spacing between the transverse rib and the convex curved end of the nut radial arm.
