[origin: DE19940212C1] The roller shutter housing has an elongate casing fitted with a cover (1) at either end, at least one of which supports an electric drive motor (5) for rotation of a drive mechanism (6a,6b) for extension and retraction of the shutter, both the motor and the drive mechanism contained within the elongate casing, in the gap between end of the shutter and the end cover.

Es handelt sich um einen Rollladenkasten, der in seinem grundsätzlichem Aufbau aus einem Kastenkörper (K), zumindest einem stirnseitigen Kastendeckel (1, 2) und wenigstens einem elektrischen Antrieb (5) mit Getriebe (6) für einen Rollladenpanzer (7) besteht. Um einen kompakten Aufbau des elektrischen Antriebes (5) mit Getriebe (6) zu erreichen und den Ein- und/oder Ausbau zu erleichtern, ist der elektrische Antrieb (5) inklusive Getriebe (6) im (Kasten-) Innenbereich des Kastendeckels (1) angeordnet. <IMAGE>
