Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1079198A1] The method involves using a recursive algorithm to obtain estimates for the three-dimensional vector of the target speed in a coordinate system that is fixed w.r.t. the seeker head of the missile. The estimates are obtained from a predetermined, maximum absolute parameter of the target and the parameter of the target image that is dependent on the observation direction, as observed from the seeker head, using other measurable parameters.
