A connector (25) is provided on a terminal device (23) on the furniture, for electrical connection to an external connector. The connector on the furniture can be tilted, pivoted or elastically bent about at least one axis (43) in at least one angular range. The connector may lie on a wall of the furniture, or behind a folding or removable wall section of the furniture.

Eine elektrische Schnittstelleneinrichtung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die möbelseitig vorgesehene erste elektrische Steckverbindungseinrichtung (25) um zumindest eine Achse (43, 71) in zumindest einem Winkelbereich kippschwenk- oder vorzugsweise elastisch biegbar ist. <IMAGE>
