Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9956860A1] The invention relates to a device for obtaining a desalinated solution from an aqueous solution, especially raw water. The device consists of a separating chamber (2) which is divided by a filter membrane (3) into a pressurized concentrate chamber (4) filled with a concentrated solution (concentrate) and a permeate chamber (5) which is filled with the desalinated solution (permeate). An inlet line (6) for the aqueous solution discharges into the concentrate chamber (4) and a concentrate line (9) branches off from the concentrate chamber (4), while a permeate line (17), which is connected to an accumulator (19), branches off from the permeate chamber (5). By choosing a pressure accumulator as accumulator (19) it is possible to combine in a single device (1) the storage and transport of permeate in the permeate network. The pressure accumulator is divided by an impermeable separating membrane (20) into a storage chamber (21) and a pressurized chamber (22). The storage chamber (21) is connected to the permeate line (17) and the pressurized chamber (22) is connected to the concentrate line (9) via a pressure-control valve (10), preferably a jet nozzle. The negative pressure or excess pressure in the pressurized chamber (22) is generated exclusively by the pressure present in the water supply network (7).
