The rollers (30,31) lowering the sheath and the rollers (32,33) ejecting the cutoff sheath section (15) are driven by electric motors (41-43). These electric motors are controlled by a common electronic programmer (50) taking information from a shaft encoder (47) to synchronize the roller drive motors.
